To date, we've donated
$130,000 to Komen Ozark. We are very proud of all of our teams for all
their effort put in to bring forth that donation. One of our main
goals is to instill in them a sense of responsibility to make changes in the
world around them. Since our first event 7 years ago, thousands of girls have
come through our parks learning to watch for opportunities to give rather
than watching for opportunities to take from the world. That's what we
need from our future citizens. Wouldn't you agree?
Let's also mention that it's 250
teams, from 6+ states, raising money to help fight breast cancer and show
how powerful girls in sports can be....all in three days and at 5
ballparks! You'll see the best competition from the region and the
biggest hearts on the fields!
It takes hundreds of volunteers each
year JUST LIKE YOU to help us make this tournament successful. Our
biggest volunteer needs during the event weekend are scorekeepers and
field setting for more than 500 games plus help with trash/recycling for
the 20,000+ guests that will be in the parks. Other opportunities
are available during the pre-event stages.
