Candle Tributes Each year, the Tribute Ceremony is the highlight of the weekend. These names are those that will be honored by candle light in a special ceremony on Saturday evening of Pitch for the Cure 2008. Someone that cares for each of them is paying tribute to them due to their battle with breast cancer, whether they are currently in treatment, surviving it or have lost their battle.
We invite you to honor your loved ones in this special candle ceremony on Saturday night of the tournament. For a $5.00 contribution, we will light a pink votive candle (in a clear holder) and announce the name of your honoree. In addition, each honoree will be listed here on the Pitch for the Cure website. All tributes names that are received prior to the print date for our event program book will be included in the program. Our tribute candles are Mia Bella Candles from Ozark Soy Candles. Becca Mutz, Owner of Ozark Soy Candles, has been an awesome partner working with Pitch for the Cure since the original 2006 event.
