Got something that has the
pink
awareness ribbon on it? Let's hear about it...
penlights, notepads, hats, key chains, patches, magnets,
charms, clippers, ink stamps, etc.
Paper items such as coupons,
flyers & catalogs, will all be hand stuffed into a packet
that will be added into the player bag in order to
eliminate free floating paper. We'll be happy to

Hospitality Supporters

We have developed a big need for
hospitality
donations. Our wonderful volunteers work very long hours and many
times are planted in one spot, in the heat, where they cannot leave to get
themselves a beverage, a meal or even a snack. While we do have
concession stands at each park, the lines are usually long and
don't work well during a volunteer's short rest break.
Over the last few years, we've started working on
putting up tents at the parks where our volunteers could go to sit for a
few minutes and hopefully always find a quick snack and a cold
drink. We've had food vendors provide us meals that allowed us to
feed those volunteers that couldn't leave the parks for any meals, along
with our youth volunteers that get isolated at the parks with their
parents. Donors have been kind enough to bring us nourishment,
refreshment and variety from the concessions.
Each year we work to add new
recruits to our volunteers base. Besides the volunteers from the
Chicks organization, we use several volunteer recruiting methods to get
outside helpers. This means our need for hospitality
sponsors is even greater. Each of our 5 parks needs
attention....each day of the weekend. These people are generous
enough to give their time to us and we can't do it without them!
Anyone can participate as a Hospitality Supporter.
You can be an individual donor OR: school group, restaurant, any
business that is or even that is NOT in the food service industry, church
group, cooking club, hotel, volunteer group, etc. If you are in a
position to help out with meals, snacks or drinks, you'd have lots
of new best friends! Please contact us at
