The Diva Darlings is a support group serving NWA for girls and young women from middle school ages through college.  If you are trying to cope with the impact that comes with having a loved one that has battled breast cancer, the Diva Darlings may be the group of friends you need.  If you know a young lady that could use this circle of support, please pass along the information.

As of noon on Monday April 19th, registration is frozen until further notice.

Pitch for the Cure will be here in:

Pitch for the Cure is set up as an open tournament with a 3-game minimum.  This is a girls' fastpitch USSSA DOUBLE POINTS tournament for 8U machine pitch and 10U through 18U teams.  Curious on how the game format plays out?  Check here!

  • Save $25.00!  Teams that register prior to April 1st, receive a discounted registration fee.

  • All teams registered prior to April 1st are also entered into an bonus drawing*.

  • First place teams in each fastpitch bracket will receive softball helmets with face guards for the entire team!

  • Individual awards are presented for 1st-4th place teams in each bracket.

  • Post-game data will be available at www.usssa.com.

  • Pitch for the Cure will provide all tournament game balls and scorekeeping.

  • At team check-in, players receive a player gift bag with great giveaway products from our sponsors and supporters.

  • Non-player (& non-coach) attendees will pay a gate entrance fee each day.  (Teams do not pay a "gate fee".)

  • Please check out the other team and individual activities that are taking place this weekend.  (Some require pre-registration or additional fees.)

  • You can guarantee that your players and parents will have event shirts in their choice of colors and sizes before we sell out!  Pre-order online or mail-in by the deadline date to pick up at the event.

Teams must complete registration in advance.  Entry deadline is 5-31-10, but teams will be taken on a first come, first served basis when payment is received and only while space is available.

Teams will not be bracketed unless entry fee ($245.00) is received.  (Or $220.00 for April 1st discount.)  Withdrawals after bracketing process has begun will result in forfeiture of entry fee.

Deadline date for
pre-order t-shirts

May 31st - Entry deadline (unless all space is filled first)

Note:  Historically we fill our space in ADVANCE!!
You don't want to miss this by not getting your registration completed before it fills up!

In addition to team registration fees, we challenge each team to raise funds to give directly to Ozark Komen for the Cure.  We refer to this as your "Team Challenge Donation" which is due at the tournament.  (Fundraising Tips)  Since 2006, we've collectively donated $62,500 to Ozark Komen.  Our goal for 2010 is $15,000.  This would include each team fundraising and contributing to the Team Challenge Donations, the Springdale Chicks donation of 20% of profits, Queen of the Heat contest fees and other direct donations.

Because Team Challenge Donations are direct donations without a service, they are 100% tax-deductible as dictated by law.  An award will be given to the team with the highest Team Challenge Donation in each bracket and an overall Grand Award Winner.

Tournament Director reserves the right to modify tournament format.
