SPRINGDALE CHICKS

KOMEN OZARK

The Diva Darlings is a support group serving NWA for girls and young women from middle school ages through college.  If you are trying to cope with the impact that comes with having a loved one that has battled breast cancer, the Diva Darlings may be the group of friends you need.  If you know a young lady that could use this circle of support, please pass along the information.

Player Gift Bags

In-kind donations help us to lower our expenses and increase our fundraising.  Sometimes this is the best way to bring some of the most unique details to an event.

Our player bags for 2010 have been donated by Ringor Softball.
They are a hot pink & grey drawstring back-sack w/a front zipper pocket.
Very awesome!  Now we need to fill them.....

One of the MOST IMPORTANT NEEDS IN ALL OF Pitch for the Cure land is....

Items for our player gift bags.  The goal is to receive 2,000 of each donated item so that every girl leaves our event with the same great gift bag.  If your budget won't allow for a donation of 2,000, we're happy to accept what you can offer.  We'll work to find items to match up with your donation so that each girl receives an equal gift bag.

Good items for girls aged 8-18 might be:

  • Bottled/boxed drinks or water
  • Any unrefrigerated snack you can think of:  bars, nuts, dried fruit, energy snacks, chips, trail mix, cookies, baked snacks, fruit cups, jerky, pudding cups, allergen free snacks, baked snacks, crackers, popcorn
  • Cereal, oatmeal, toaster pastries, cereal bars
  • Pink softballs
  • Sample sizes of almost any product
  • Deodorant, body spray, foot/shoe deodorizer
  • Soap, body wash, lotion, acne wash
  • Bug repellant, sunscreen, after sun products
  • Shampoo, conditioner, hair spray
  • Small sports accessories:  wristbands, eye black, sports wrap, shoe laces, mouthguards, sports grip
  • Bandages, liquid bandage, ace bandages
  • Pedicure or manicure items

  • Makeup, lip balm, lip gloss
  • Laundry detergent, stain remover, laundry refresher
  • Toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, dental floss
  • Socks, bandanas, lanyards, bag tags
  • Headbands, ponytail holders or clips

Got something that has the pink awareness ribbon on it?  Let's hear about it...  penlights, notepads, hats, key chains, patches, magnets, charms, clippers, ink stamps, etc.

Paper items such as coupons, flyers & catalogs, will all be hand stuffed into a packet that will be added into the player bag in order to eliminate free floating paper.  We'll be happy to include the paper items that you supply in all 2,000 bags for a $25 stuffing fee per item.  (Ex: 1 brochure + 1 coupon = $50 stuffing fee)

Need even more ideas....

  • Small books
  • Batteries
