Power of the Promise Award |

Susan G. Komen for the Cure presented a volunteerism award to Pitch for the Cure. At their Pink Ribbon Luncheon that took place September 30th, Komen Ozark awarded us with their 2009 Power of the Promise Award.
Alison Levin, Executive Director for Komen, reminded us of a quote that is posted on our website that reads:
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

Park Changes |

We hope to have meetings soon to discuss using Memorial Park in Bentonville, AR as a Pitch for the Cure park. They are currently under renovation to resurface all athletic fields. They'll be done prior to Pitch for the Cure. We'll keep you updated on whether we'll be adding these four fields to our event list. Keep your fingers crossed that Bentonville will welcome us! |
