The Diva Darlings is a support group serving NWA for girls and young women from middle school ages through college.  If you are trying to cope with the impact that comes with having a loved one that has battled breast cancer, the Diva Darlings may be the group of friends you need.  If you know a young lady that could use this circle of support, please pass along the information.

Pitch 2011 is hitting it out of the park...   CRYSTL BUSTOS

REGISTER NOW

Pitch 2011 is hitting it out of the park with good news for our players, parents & coaches!  Joining us at our 6th annual fastpitch tournament will be 3-time Olympian, Crystl Bustos and her Got Bustos? team.  We'll be hosting several clinics during our weekend event along with allowing time for pictures & autographs.

A coach/parent clinic will be held late Friday afternoon in order to accommodate as many as possible.  Saturday player mini-clinics will cover hitting/fielding and will be for 2011 PFTC players only (at special pricing).  These will be divided by team age groups in order to "shift-schedule" the games accordingly.  Sunday sessions are also hitting/fielding mini-clinics but are open to any players.  All are single session clinics.

There are limited spaces available for the player clinics and we want to honor the benefit to 2011 PFTC players foremost.  For us to do this, players' teams must have their PFTC team registration completed & paid.  We realize that PFTC teams always pay in advance, this simply means that they must also be paid prior to any player registering for the clinics.  Teams will also be required to first be USSSA registered for the 2011 season and have an online USSSA roster submitted.

We hope you enjoy the addition to this year's event and we thank Crystl and her group.  We can't wait to have them here!

Registration opens March 13th and is first come, first served.

You can mail in your completed registration form with a check, but the fastest way to get your payment and form here is to pay online.  There is a fee charged by Active.com to use their system for this...you'll just need to decide if that's for you?

Our Friday clinic with Crystl will be for Coaches and also Parents who would like to learn what Crystl will be teaching to the girls in the hitting clinics.  This is a great way to give your players the reinforcement that they'll need once they leave and go home with Crystl's methods.  If you, as a Coach and/or a Parent, can help them back up what Crystl has taught them, then you will automatically become their go-to person for back-up!  What great experience to learn from the best and a bonding benefit for you and your player!!

This clinic will be held from 3:00-5:00 in the afternoon for $45 per person.

Our Saturday clinics will be with Crystl and associates plus volunteers.  The goal is to have half of the 3 hour session be used on hitting with Crystl and the other half be used on defense.  The groups will be divided by "team age groups" so that division of games can be closed if necessary.

There are three different sessions planned and they are all scheduled (at this time) to end prior to the Saturday evening ceremonies.
Cost is $60 per player.  PFTC players only.

12U-14U: 7am to 10am*
16U-18U: 12pm to 3pm*
8U-10U: 4:45pm to 7:45pm*

*The plan is to halt tournament games for each age group during the clinic for that age group. This will allow players to attend. While a clinic is going on for an age group, the fields will fill up with other age groups. For example: When the 16/18's are in clinic, the 12/14's will use their field space to get through as many games possible and make use of the space.

Our Sunday clinics are OPEN sessions for players that are not on Pitch for the Cure teams.  The goal?  Make it for players in the community or players who's teams didn't make it into the event.

There will be a 10:00-1:00pm session for $70.  (Time adjusted to 9:45-12:45)
The second session is from 3:30-6:30 and is also $70.
(Time adjusted to 1:45-4:45)

Crystl and group will be covering the same things as above.

We can't be held responsible for game/contest delays, travel delays, location delays or other matters that cause a team or player to be late to the start of a session.  There will be no refunds for players that can't make it to their session....but ORIGINAL SCHEDULING OF THE GAMES WILL BE MADE BASED AROUND THE TIMING OF THE CLINIC SCHEDULE FOR EACH AGE DIVISION.

Please remember that the event director and GotBustos? Team reserve the right to make changes to any clinic, if necessary.

Player list will be loaded here as clinic dates approach.
